The 65th annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) begins its 10-night event at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, December 7th. The premier rodeo event by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association will feature two Team FLAIR™ members: barrel racer Stevi Hillman and steer wrestler Dirk Tavenner. Fresh off winning the Pendleton Rodeo, Stevi is going into her 7th NFR performance ranked 12th in the 2023 Woman’s Professional Rodeo Association world standings. After missing some time competing earlier this year to heal from an injury, Dirk came back to the sport with a big win at the NFR Open this summer. He currently resides 8th on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association world standings and returns for his 3rd NFR as a professional after being a four-time qualifier for the College National Finals Rodeo.
This year’s event, with a history of over 350 consecutive sellout performances, $11.5 million in prize money and the prestigious PRCA Gold Buckle is sure to be nothing short of exciting.
