On Tuesday, March 5th, the young but fast-growing platform HorseGrooms will host its first-ever live event for grooms at Winter Heaven Farm in Wellington, FL. Some of HorseGrooms’ outstanding contributors will share their expertise with the attendees.
- Dietician Kimberly Maloomian will speak about healthy eating habits for grooms (and she will probably make some healthy snacks with the attendees as well)
- Michele Hollis, MD, will take the vitals of the attendees because grooms often take better care of their horses than of themselves
- Enviro Equine & PET will be there to talk about equine nutrition and care products
- Top groom Josie Eliasson (Jessica Springsteen) will speak about her job board Yehaww and about everything that comes with traveling around the globe with horses (lots of paperwork), particularly traveling back and forth between Europe and the U.S. with her top stallion Don Juan van de Donkhoeve.
- Vet tech Laura Elser will show and teach how to take vitals on a horse
- Top groom Margo Thomas (Laura Kraut) will show and explain parts of her grooming routine.
HorseGrooms looks forward to meeting and learning from fellow grooms and equestrians in a welcoming and low-key environment.
Everyone is welcome, also non-grooms! Interested people just need to please RSVP via: https://forms.gle/m1basw3qx7PB6s639.
Access to this event is free for all grooms; we hope to cover the expenses with sponsors and donations. Please reach out if you would like to (financially) support this event!
Thank you to Yehaww, EnviroEquine & PET, Buckets to Brushes, and DziaSport for supporting this event.
