Over 80 Volunteers Joined Forces to Make a Difference, Supported by Anheuser-Busch Foundation, Purina®, and Absorbine®.
The EN Foundation is proud to announce a successful volunteer day at Rising Starr Rescue in Wilton, Connecticut, courtesy of the A Home for Every Horse program. The event brought together over 80 dedicated volunteers from valued supporters, including Anheuser-Busch Foundation, Purina, and Absorbine, to contribute their time and efforts towards improving the rescue facility.
Throughout the day, volunteers engaged in several impactful activities, including fixing fences, painting sheds and barns, and replacing stall gates. These efforts were crucial in ensuring the rescue animals at Rising Starr have a safe and well-maintained environment.
Event Highlights:
- Collaborative Efforts: Volunteers from EN Foundation, Anheuser-Busch Foundation, Purina, and Absorbine worked side by side to complete essential maintenance tasks.
- Generous Donations: Purina generously donated feed to support the nutritional needs of the rescue animals. Absorbine contributed products crucial for the ongoing care and maintenance of the animals. Anheuser-Busch Foundation helped to fund the materials needed for improvements.
- Check Presentation: Anheuser-Busch Foundation presented the Equine Network Foundation with a check for $50,000. This generous donation will help further our mission to help protect all horses and the industry surrounding them.
- Special Treat: As a special thank you to the volunteers, the famous Budweiser Clydesdales and hitch arrived after the event, providing a memorable experience for all attendees.
