Equine Affaire Meets Horses In The Morning:

Starting July 21, listen to Equine Affaire’s official podcast via the Horse Radio Network!

The official Equine Affaire podcast has found a new home on the Horse Radio Network! On the third Thursday of every month, Equine Affaire’s podcast will air as part of Horses in the Morning on the Horse Radio Network. Each episode will feature exclusive interviews with the stars and talent of North America’s premier equine exposition and equestrian gathering, including educational tips, entertaining stories, and a whole lot more. Whether you’re an avid podcast listener with a love for horses, a passionate Equine Affaire fan, or a regular connoisseur of Horses in the Morning, start your Thursday off right with these special episodes!

Equine Affaire’s official monthly podcast first launched in 2019 with the goal of giving listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the exposition. Four seasons later, the show has featured such guests as Julie Goodnight, Dan and Elizabeth James, Chris Cox, Sylvia Zerbini, Jonathan Field, and others. All 34 past episodes are available for listening (or bingeing!) now on equineaffaire.com/home/podcast. Get caught up today so you can start fresh on Thursday, July 21, when Equine Affaire’s debut episode will air as part of Horses in the Morning!

With this new merger, Equine Affaire’s podcast will become a monthly feature of Horses in the Morning, which is the world’s leading daily morning podcast for the horse world and reaches listeners in over 90 countries.

The HITM/EA episodes will be co-hosted by Glenn Hebert (founder of the Horse Radio Network and founder and co-host of Horses in the Morning) and Allison Rehnborg, who has been hosting the EA podcast since its inaugural episode.

“Equine Affaire happens twice a year for four days – once in April and once in November – and offers an amazingly concentrated dose of all things equine and education,” Rehnborg said. “What I love about our podcast is that we get a chance to bring that feeling of super concentrated horsiness to our listeners once a month, so it’s a way for fans to enjoy the Affaire all year long.”

For four seasons, the show has focused on guests’ personal journeys of getting started in the horse industry and shared their stories from past Equine Affaires, as well as tips for how to enjoy the expo to the fullest. New episodes will share these same qualities, but also showcase a new focus on educational equine content.

“Podcast interviews can be a really personal way for listeners to connect with guests,” Rehnborg said. “We’re still going to keep that personal touch, but we’re also going to focus on education with these new HITM episodes. Equine Affaire is all about education for the horse industry, so it only makes sense that our podcast should focus on that, too. And if you know anything about Glenn, who’s going to be co-hosting with me, you know he’ll be bringing plenty of jokes. It’s going to be a great time.”
