On May 31, 2024 Pedro held good on his promise to come to Monty Roberts’ farm after meeting the famous horse trainer in Barretos, Brazil August 2023. Pedro had left Barretos right after the Rodeo and finally arrived in Solvang, California to learn from Monty about Join-Up® and about training mustangs.
Pedro Henrique Berranteiro of the Americas will take two years to return by two mules (and possibly a Mustang) to Barretos, Brazil where the world’s largest rodeo takes place every August.
Travelling from Brazil to the USA in an F-1000 together with his canine friend @bastiaoberranteiro, Pedro often stops at events along the way to play and compete on his traditional bull-horn, the berrante; he is a four-time horn champion in Barretos.
Certified Monty Roberts Instructors, Waldo Franco and Miguel Lupiano were there to spend the week with Roberts and Berranteiro to work with several horses, Thoroughbreds and mustangs.
