AQHA Wrangler Women of Influence  

AQHA collaborates with Wrangler to recognize women who have been influential in the American Quarter Horse industry.

The American Quarter Horse Association and Wrangler are proud to announce the Wrangler Women of Influence award. The annual award will honor women whose personal and professional contributions have impacted the American Quarter Horse industry and those around them.

“The American Quarter Horse Association is home to trail-blazing women,” said Karl Stressman, AQHA Chief Executive Officer. “Our association is molded by strong women who invest their passion in the American Quarter Horse every day. Partnering with another trailblazing company, Wrangler, this award is the perfect way to honor their important impact.”

Honorees will be celebrated at the Wrangler Women of Influence Reception to be held at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City during the 2023 AQHA World Championship Show, will be featured in The American Quarter Horse Journal, on aqha.com and on AQHA social platforms.

“Innovation, courageous individuality and a pioneering spirit are core values of Wrangler that are mirrored in the American Quarter Horse Association,” said Robin Rich, Senior Brand Marketing Manager of Wrangler. “We could not be more proud to lead the effort to celebrate the women who embody these characteristics and whose actions have helped to shape the American Quarter Horse industry.”
