Julie Goodnight is proud to headline this year’s Rocky Mountain Horse Expo—live and in the arena for two clinic demonstrations—Saturday, Feb. 26, at the National Western Complex in Denver.
“I’m thrilled to be back on the road again with my sweet little horse, Annie,” says Goodnight. “This will be my first expo since March of 2020. I can’t wait to perform in front of a crowd again, and feel the energy of all the horse lovers out there who strive to be better and do better for their horses.”
Goodnight’s Expo Schedule:
- Event Center Arena 10:00-11:45am | Proactive Riding—Taking the Driver’s Seat: Have you ever had a horse that used to do well, but now he refuses, or used to be responsive, but now ignores you? In this presentation, Goodnight will talk about common disobediences, and arm riders with tools to redirect the horse with replacement training.
- Event Center Barn Arena 12:15-12:45pm: Question & Answer Period
- Event Center Arena 2:00-3:45pm | Back from the Brink—Managing Emotional Meltdowns in Horses: Horse’s are emotional animals—their behavior is often dramatic, and can be frightening at times. Whether a horse is panicking, throwing a tantrum, or shutting down, Goodnight will help riders recognize what their horse is feeling and be equipped to deal with the situation with a calm and focused mind.
Riders can participate in the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo “Ride with the Experts” program, which gives participants the opportunity to bring their horse and ride in the clinics to get personal help from Julie.
