With the expertise of Lynn Palm as an AQHA Judge, USEF Western Dressage R Judge, World Champion Competitor and international clinician and Marie-Frances Davis, AQHA Show Manager, WDAA World Champion and Horse of the Year Champion, the two bring a unique set of skills to the Winning Ways Showing and Growing experience.
Beginning only two years ago with two events and morphing into six locations annually, including Italy, the pair has no plans of slowing down. Another six events are in store for 2024 in four new locations with two returning from 2023. Each Showing and Growing Winning Ways weekend consists of a Saturday AQHA/WDAA Western Dressage Show judged by Palm followed by three days of instruction for riders, instructors and coaches seeking to improve their western dressage skills. The events are open to all breeds and levels of riders new to the sport or currently training and competing.
Palm was thrilled with the success of the 2023 winning weekends. With 224 tests ridden in over 5 Levels on 22 breeds from 14 states and multiple regions in Italy, riders earned 208.5 AQHA points and an average score of 67.90% while nearly 100 riders trained in the Grow Your Scores and Grow Your Skills clinics. Palm’s vision of promoting Western Dressage as a solid training scale for all western disciplines has been realized and she is pleased to “watch so many have success with Western Dressage. This is my part in giving back to an industry that has been good to me”.
