Sixty-four horses who are graduates of Keeneland’s world-famous Thoroughbred sales have been entered in the 40th Breeders’ Cup World Championships, to be held Friday and Saturday at Santa Anita in California. Alumni include six entrants in the $6 million Classic (G1): morning-line favorite Arabian Knight, Bright Future, Dreamlike, Missed the Cut, Saudi Crown and Zandon.
Through 2022, 126 Keeneland sales graduates have won 135 Breeders’ Cup races. Among them are these 2022 winners of the World Championships at Keeneland: Juvenile (G1) winner Forte, Distaff (G1) winner Malathaat and Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner Wonder Wheel.
