The central figure of the film, Dr. Sue Dyson, holds an esteemed position within the equine veterinary sphere. With a career spanning decades, Dr. Dyson’s pioneering research in equine lameness and poor performance has left a profound impact. Graduating as a veterinarian from the University of Cambridge in 1980, she embarked on a journey marked by commitment and innovation. For 37 years, Dr. Dyson managed a clinical referral service for lameness and poor performance at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, attracting clients worldwide. Dr. Dyson’s holistic approach, seamlessly merging horsemanship skills with veterinary proficiency, has earned her international acclaim and recognition as an advocate for equine well-being.
