Award-winning author, trainer instructor and podcaster Lisa Wysocky announces the launch of the Celebs with Horses podcast on the Horse Radio Network, now part of the Equine Network family.
Each episode will feature a single celebrity guest from the field of acting, sports, or music in an in-depth interview solely about his or her life with horses.
The show’s first guest is the iconic captain of the Starship Enterprise, William Shatner, Mr. Shatner is a lifelong horseman who has earned national recognition for his work with the American Saddlebred and American Quarter Horse, among other breeds. At age ninety-plus, he still rides his reining horses most mornings, and has developed a true understanding of the horse-human connection.
“His interview was very open, honest, and enthusiastic,” said Wysocky, who hosts the show. “At times I felt as if I was getting a riding lesson from a true master, and at other times I was filled with joy listening to him talk so passionately about his relationships with his horses.”
