Palm Equestrian Academy’s latest venture combines the expertise of Lynn Palm as an AQHA Judge, USEF Western Dressage R Judge, World Champion Competitor and international clinician, and Marie-Frances Davis, AQHA Show Manager, WDAA World Champion and Horse of the Year Champion. The two bring a unique set of skills to the Winning Ways Showing and Growing experience.
The first of its kind competitive and educational weekend, begins with the Show, a Saturday AQHA Western Dressage Special Event with AQHA and WDAA Recognition judged by Palm. Sunday is an opportunity to Grow Your Scores with a Test Review, learning to ride with accuracy and Question and Answer Session after a Presentation of Getting Started in Western Dressage along with how to organize a Western Dressage special event by Palm and Davis. Monday and Tuesday is the Grow Your Skills Clinic with small groups of riders and their horses working with Palm to advance their training under saddle.
Registration is now open for the first 2023 events in Virginia and Pennsylvania. June 10-13 is the first stop at Mane Gait Equestrian Center in Natural Bridge, VA. A beautiful facility centrally located in Virginia’s horse country welcomes riders from the surrounding areas for the full four day show and clinics experience. June 17-19 is an abbreviated weekend with a show and 2-day clinic in the Philadelphia area at Blue Goose Stables in Cochranville, PA, the home of many USDF and GMO schooling shows offering Western Dressage.
The AQHA/WDAA shows and clinics are open to all breeds of horses and levels of riders. Wonderful prizes have been sponsored by fantastic companies who support Winning Ways. For individual classes as well as High Scores for Youth, Amateur and Open, they range from Funky Unicorn Horse Treats, Treats with a Purpose and Hodges Badge Company medals compliments of Palm Equestrian Academy to SmartPak gift certificates and coupons for Premium Purina Feeds. The Grow Your Test Scores Test Review is open to 8 riders. The Grow Your Skills Clinic can hold a maximum of 10 riders.
