The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC or Pony Club) is heading to the National Equestrian Center, Lake St. Louis, Mo., June 5–11, for the 2023 USPC Championships Central and returning to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) in Mill Spring, N.C., July 26–30, for the 2023 USPC Championships East.
Each year, USPC holds National Championships in Dressage, Western Dressage, Eventing, Mounted Games, Polocrosse, Quiz, Show Jumping, and Tetrathlon, plus the new addition of open competitions for Gymkhana and Trail. All members competing at USPC Championships qualify through participation in regional rallies, where teams of members are selected. Teams are scored not only on their success in the ring or on the field, but also on their Horse Management skills and knowledge.
“We look forward to the USPC Championships this year as our members showcase their competitive abilities, as well as their skills in horse management, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship,” said Teresa Woods, USPC Executive Director. “The USPC Championships represent the culmination of much hard work over the past year to qualify, and competitors should be proud to make it to the USPC Championships. We wish the best of luck to those participating.”
