The 2022 Farnam AQHA World, Adequan® Select World, Adequan® Level 2 and Nutrena Level 1 Champion of Champions for amateur, Select amateur and open exhibitors kicked off October 27 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.
Approximately 1,300 exhibitors and 1,650 American Quarter Horses competing at this year’s show have a chance at nearly $400,000 in optional jackpot classes and more than $550,000 in required-purse classes
The 2022 Farnam AQHA World, Adequan® Select World, Adequan® Level 2 and Nutrena Level 1 Champion of Champions for amateur, Select amateur and open exhibitors kicked off October 27 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. AQHA welcomes American Quarter Horse enthusiasts from around the world to watch the event in person where general admission for all the action in the arena and trade show is free! More than 7,500 entries and 281 first time exhibitors are competing for 268 championship titles, 104 Farnam AQHA world championships, 44 Adequan® Select world championships, 106 Adequan® Level 2 championships and 14 Nutrena Level 1 Champion of Champions, plus, more than $2 million in purse, prizes and the coveted gold globes at this year’s event, October 27 – November 19.
Exhibitors at the 2022 Farnam AQHA and Adequan® Select World have the opportunity to compete for nearly $400,000 in optional jackpot classes and more than $550,000 in required-purse classes. Even more added money and prizes are up for grabs in the following classes:
- $50,000 in purse and prizes for the Pleasure Versatility Challenge, presented by Super Sires;
- $50,000-added Level 3 barrel racing classes, courtesy of AQHA, the OKC Convention & Visitors Bureau, Shiner Beer and Succeed;
- $25,000-added working western rail, $10,000-added two-part All American Quarter Horse Congress working western rail series and two ranch-style Harris Leather saddles, courtesy of Headley Quarter Horses;
- $20,000-added 3-year-old stakes classes – view more about the sponsors;
- $30,000 award certificate presented by Cimarron Trailers to the 2022 Farnam AQHA Superhorse;
- $10,000 cash and a Lisa Perry bronze to the AQHA All-Around Amateur;
- $10,000 cash and Lisa Perry bronze to the AQHA Select All-Around Amateur;
- Plus, more great prizes will be presented throughout the show!

Quarter Horse Trade Show
Take a break from the action in the arenas to enjoy the free Trade Show, which features numerous vendors from across the United States, selling home décor, jewelry, tack, western attire, trailers and outside vendors in the Jim Norick Arena Concourse, Super Barn and Barn 3.
In addition to the Trade Show, the Oklahoma Christmas Show will be located in the Bennett Event Center at the OKC Fairgrounds November 11-13. Separate admission is required to attend the Oklahoma Christmas Show with discounted tickets available in the show office
Triangle Fall Sale
The 43rd annual Fall Triangle Horse Sale is scheduled for October 27-29.
