Proper arena footing is an important consideration at any reining, but for The Run For A Million (TRFAM), which draws reining’s finest horses and riders, it is a vital element. The care of the dirt is in good hands this fall as Arena Werks™ has stepped up as TRFAM’s Official Drag.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to have the Arena Werks drags at TRFAM this year,” said producer Amanda Brumley. “They have created a product that exceeds expectations in the preparation and maintenance of footing. At TRFAM, footing is everything when a rider is competing for $1,000,000. We feel Arena Werks drags do exactly that — $1,000,000 footing!”
Arena Werks owner Randy Snodgress was grateful for the opportunity to work with an elite event like TRFAM. The company has been increasing its presence in the reining world, and he hoped showcasing what Arena Werks can do at the show would grow its reputation even more.
“It means quite a bit to us to be involved,” Snodgress said. “It’s a stamp of approval from the reining horse industry and solidifies our spot in the drag market.”
The Arena Werks Elite drag, which will be used at TRFAM, has already proven itself at other events and private venues around the country, he said. The drag is currently used in arenas at TRFAM producer Taylor Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, Texas, and Snodgress believes it will continue making a name for itself through exposure at TRFAM. He looks forward to making new friends and customers thanks to the event.
“We just want to do our part and provide good customer service,” Snodgress said. “We look forward to being able to provide the ground everybody expects and show them what we can do. We really appreciate the opportunity and look forward to working with TRFAM team.”
