Cyril Pittion-Rossillon hails from Paris, France, where he graduated from the French National Equestrian School. His background and 30+ years of experience bring unique skills to his teaching and coaching at Palm Equestrian Academy and his Regional Teaching Tours.
Cyril has an impressive background as a competitor in France and the US as well as extensive teaching and coaching experience. *French National Junior and Open Jumper Circuits and Preliminary Eventing *USDF FEI, USEA and USEF Hunter/Equitation Coach *USEF/WDAA World Champion and Horse of the Year Coach
Cyril is coaching professionals at Grand Prix in National and CDI Levels as well as Amateurs through FEI. With his strong jumper background, he helps riders to improve their jumping for hunters, equitation and eventing by using a combination of dressage techniques, pole exercises and jumping grids.
During Cyril’s teaching tours, what riders will learn is based on the French Classical riding tradition. Everyone can benefit from sound, time tested and humane principles. Riders will learn exercises and techniques to improve their balance and aids communication but also make the horse more balanced, responsive and willing.
The first summer teaching tour that Cyril will lead this year begins in June. Kicking off at Woodbine Equestrian Center in Woodbine, NJ, June 3-5 followed up by a week at Clonmel Farm in West Chester, PA, June 6-11 capped off with Cyril’s coaching at a dressage show for all the students, and a scheduled return to Woodbine for a 2-day follow up clinic June 25-26. Stops in between range from active eventing riders, jumper riders in hunter and equitation events, dressage and western dressage.
