Top international dressage rider and Olympic silver medalist Adrienne Lyle is the latest to join the long list of top dressage riders, trainers and professionals on Dressage Today OnDemand.
Lyle’s love of horses started early in life, on her family farm on Whidbey Island, Washington. Originally being introduced to dressage through eventing, Adrienne decided to focus solely on dressage in her early teens. She eventually went on to seek training with top dressage trainer and rider Debbie McDonald and has been working with McDonald ever since. Lyle’s career highlights include representing the USA in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she helped the team secure a silver medal.
Lyle is as gifted at teaching as she is riding, according to longtime coach Debbie McDonald. Lyle herself says she loves teaching anyone who is really passionate and motivated, whether they have a fancy horse or a backyard buddy. This makes her an ideal and effective coach for a variety of riders and horses and various levels.
In her series on Dressage Today OnDemand, members will get an exclusive look into lessons with Lyle. Topics covered include:
- Working with a Grade IV Para Rider
- Canter Work with a Fresian
- Forward Off the Leg
- Managing a Sensitive Horse
- Keeping a Steady Contact and more
Regardless of where you and your horse are in your riding journey, Lyle’s keen insights can help you master the mental game and ride more effectively.
