Leading horse trainers and Olympians, top clinicians, international performers and award winning filmmakers, will come together for the annual conference & film festival at the Montana Center for Horsemanship in Dillon, Montana. The Natural Horsemanship Revolution promises 3-days of learning, education, inspiration, tears, laughter and the joy of being with horses in a breathtaking environment.
The Montana Center for Horsemanship, in partnership with the University of Montana Western, is teaming up with EQUUS International Film Festival for a public conference with some of the world’s leading horsemen and horsewomen. The goal — to inspire, educate, and advance the well being of horse and human. “By understanding where we’ve come from in the horsemanship world and where we’re going in years to come,” says coordinator Janet Rose, “we can begin and continue to build upon the far reaching, high impact legacy of natural horsemanship.”
William Kriegel, co-founder of the Montana Center for Horsemanship and founder of Haras de la Cense, Europe’s leading equine education center near Paris, France says “Natural Horsemanship is a global phenomenon, revolutionizing our understanding of horses. The Natural Horsemanship method taught at the Montana Center for Horsemanship provides a blueprint for all that horse and human need to build a true partnership.”
The Conference celebrates where the world of horsemanship has come from historically, genetically, philosophically and in practice and where it’s going with widely respected, esteemed individuals including Buck Brannaman, Jim Wofford, Dr. Glenn Blodgett (6666 Ranches), AQHA breeder Stan Weaver, global performer and horsewoman Kansas Carradine, Drs. Steve Peters, Sue Dyson and Anne Perkins, and many others, contributing to our greater understanding of the horse-horse human relationship. With roundtables, breakout sessions, demonstrations and hands-on with horses from a wide range of educators and trainers, and exhibitors as well as award winning films from this year’s EQUUS International Film Festival, MCH and Montana Western will showcase, celebrate and advance the global impact of horses in human lives, worldwide.
