The speaker, Martha McNiel, started DreamPower Horsemanship in 2002 with her personal horse “Nick” a miniature horse named “Zachary” and herself as the only staff member. Over the past 20 years DreamPower grew to provide services to over 800 individuals each year with more than 500 volunteers donating their time each year. One program grew to more than forty distinct programs over the past 20 years. Martha and members of her staff and volunteers have been honored with industry awards from PATH International. She is an experienced builder of programs, teams, and meaningful relationships. Her past presentations for the Equestrian Professional website include “Working with Horses in Leadership, Mental Health and Learning Programs” and “Recruiting, Training and Retaining Volunteers for Your Equine Program.”
