Teton Ridge Driving Excellence in Horsemanship Through Along For The Ride Symposium Title Sponsorship

Popular podcast “Along For The Ride™ with Andrea Fappani” to host symposium February 25-27th at South Point Casino & Resort

The popular podcast “Along For The Ride™ with Andrea Fappani” is taking its important conversations live and in-person to the South Point Casino Resort on February 25-27th and western heritage brand Teton Ridge will be the event’s title sponsor. NRHA’s 7-million-dollar rider, Andrea Fappani is co-hosting a first of its kind event & symposium in Las Vegas with NRHA 6.9-million-dollar rider Shawn Flarida, and two-time Road to The Horse Champion and NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion, Nick Dowers.

“The focus of the Symposium is on the importance of horsemanship and how to communicate, understand and teach the horse to perform at the highest level of performance,” said Fappani. “We are thrilled that Teton Ridge is supporting these invaluable opportunities as the brand becomes the driver of excellence in horsemanship. This is just the first step and I look forward to what’s to come.”

“We are excited to participate as a sponsor in events such as this symposium because these top tier trainers, including TEAM:TR member Andrea Fappani, are setting a new standard for their sports and taking training to another level,” said Jonathan Katz, CEO of Teton Ridge. “We’re all about the elevation of western equine disciplines and this is a great opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. We’re proud to support one of our TEAM:TR members as our brand works to become the leader in horsemanship innovation and excellence.”

Together, Fappani, Flarida and Dowers bring over 15 million in lifetime performance horse earnings in the arena to collaborate and share their knowledge in Vegas.

Fappani describes horsemanship as “the art of riding with maximum comprehension and a minimum of interference with the horse.”  The three riders will share their decades of experiences in acquiring the “feel” and the understanding it takes to connect with your horse. This event is the first of its kind to share the mastery of horsemanship as it relates to performance.

“With the refinement of how we are breeding our current horses, it is equally important to up our game in horsemanship,” says Fappani. The ultra-talented Shawn Flarida and Nick Dowers join Andrea in sharing the knowledge acquired from 10,000 hours of riding many different horses and observing many others to assist riders in acquiring higher levels of horsemanship.

Nick Dowers’ captivating mantra, “It’s all about getting his thoughts to become my thoughts,” will be demonstrated in detail. This symposium will spotlight the horse and how they learn. Many clinics demonstrate a maneuver in a “how to” method. This symposium will use maneuvers to illustrate how the horse learns and understands while building a trust in the rider which ultimately provide the greatest potential for both horse & rider. Don’t miss this unique opportunity with the Performance Horse Industry’s top horseman– sharing and learning from each other their lifetime’s study of the horse.
